Primera sevillana workshops

Welcome to the flamenco dance workshops: "learn to dance la primera sevillana".

We will focus on learning "la primera sevillana"!

First, we will learn all the steps, and in the following workshops we will practice how to dance it in pairs and also learn the coordination with the arms and hands. I will give an insight of this flamenco and popular dance, where it comes from and how it is danced in Spain nowadays. I will also give different music examples. There is the possibility of having a flamenco guitarist (Toni de María/ Toni Jokiniitty) playing and singing live "las sevillanas" in some of the workshops!

The workshops are thought for beginners and people who have already danced la primera sevillana and want to review it and have fun and dance it with others! We will build from the beginning and I will adjust to each student and level and give what they need to keep learning it.

The workshops can be attended separately (one or as many as wanted).

Place: Kokoushuone in Aleksanterin Teatteri, Bulevardi.

Time. Saturdays 11.11, 18.11, 25.11, 2.12 and 9.12 from 12:15 to 14:00h.

Price: 35€ one workshop / 25€ for my current students in Aleksanterin Teatteri. 150€ all the workshops / 105€ for my current students in Aleksanterin Teatteri.
